Reflecting on just ten memories from
a wonderful week in California ...
a week of celebrating Jerry's
71st birthday with dear friends!
Left AZ on morning of February 2nd -
after our HOA breakfast where
Jerry was sung to and blew
out a candle on ice cream.
Juneau friends Eric & Bunny
invited us to spend a night with
them in Palm Desert and treated
us to a birthday dinner!
Loved seeing windmills, palm trees
and distant snow as we headed
to Escondido ...
Dave and Arleen invited us
to stay with them at the
Welk resort in Escondido...
During the week we enjoyed the
Super Bowl, trip to San Diego for
a tour of the USS Midway,
a Neil Diamond tribute concert,
and a visit with niece Lindsey's
family in Menifee!!

A partly cloudy day in Sun City, Arizona ...
after a night of thunderstorms;
Flagstaff received welcomed first snow!
Enjoyed picking "beginning to ripen"
kumquats and tangelos at neighbors and some of our own lemons.
Afternoon R&R and exercise...
the "cold" temperature had me
with almost no one else
at Bell Rec Center!
...always love sunsets!!
