OK...here goes! I have enjoyed the "posts" of many others who share 10 photos on the 10th day of the month - and this July 10th evening I'll post 10 from today. First, a little background - several years ago I acquired "Corky" from friend Mary Jo, a fellow Math Helping Corps colleague - and for some unexplainable reason, this little critter has enjoyed sharing many of my experiences. A few years later, imaginative friends, Bev and Trina (also teachers), created twins, Corky Jr. and Chablis; along with a "story" about Corky and a Mrs. Corky (aka Jewelee) and the twins being in the custody of paternal Grandmother Merlot. Anyway - this week, Bev and Trina abandoned the twins here after their Tahuya visit ... so of course, Corky has stepped up and will care for them during part of their summer. Below are some highlights from their day...Crab season not yet open,
so had to enjoy imagining...Harvested a zucchini - Thought about the wonderful croaking sounds at night... Enjoyed some rock climbing... Went out for cones! Visited with concrete guy! Picked raspberries... Looked for shells on the beach...
Played on the beach!Enjoyed starting a new book...
