      From Indio, California - 

in the Palm Springs area,

a desert resort city at the east end of the Coachella Valley, about 130 miles

east of Los Angeles on Interstate 10 ...

we're enjoying our first full day

at WorldMark Indio!

 We enjoyed the exercise room,

floating in the man-made lazy river,

of a wonderful ten day "girlfriend trip"

with Linda, Bev, and Trina 

to San Jose del Cabo,

Baja California, Mexico!

Left Portland on a Thursday morning ...
 6:40 AM flight!

... safe arrival!

 Pool, Beach, Games, Reading, 

Poolside Happy Hour!

One major "oh no", but

 giggle providing incident ~

Linda needed a dentist!

 (Her front tooth crown

came out on the plane.)

 Did leave the resort for shopping opportunities

 in San Jose, at Costco, in Cabo San Lucas and a

snorkeling trip to Cabo Pulmo

(choppy water - some barfing!).

Fiesta fun and variety of dining opportunities ...

... and then back to the USA!!
