Ten On Ten ~ June 10, 2011

We are blessed to be spending

a week at the beautiful

Auke Bay home of our friends,

Eric and Bunny!
 She and I were friends
 in 7th and 8th grades,

when my Dad was
stationed in Juneau.

 My family was living here when

Alaska became a state in 1959.

Bunny and I went sight seeing - 

saw several art students 

at work around Auke Lake.

 Their challenge was to paint 

some of the scenery...

 without using green!

 We enjoyed some beach time!

 Just can't get enough

 of the awesome

and majestic scenery!

Ten On Ten ~ March 10, 2011

          My birthday!!  We left Linda's Mt. Vernon home after a wonderful three night stay, traveling with Eric & Bunny in their motor coach back to Renton. They hooked up their Tahoe and headed to Oregon, and then Jerry and I headed to Tahuya. The weather has been very windy and rainy. Late tonight we learned of a 8.9 quake and tsunami in Japan.
